TERMS AND CONDITIONS - By using Greg Howard’s Cleaning services you agree to and are subject to the following terms and conditions as detailed below.

General – Greg Howard’s Cleaning agrees to perform the work professionally specified by the client using every care to accomplish a satisfactory service. By ordering Greg Howard’s Cleaning services via telephone, e-mail, and social media, the customer agrees to be bound by Greg Howard’s Cleaning Terms and Conditions of service.

Price Quotes – All Freephone, e-mail, and social media price quotes are only estimates, and pricing may change upon further inspection by the technician. The price will be provided before work is performed. Pricing is subject to change at any time and without notice. All quotes are valid for 21 days only.

Carpet Cleaning and Stain Removal – Greg Howard’s Cleaning will attempt to improve the appearance of your carpet that has been stained with foreign substances. You acknowledge that the carpet in its stained condition is of lessened value. You understand that there exist variations in carpet fabric and dye composition and that there are instances where stains may not be able to be removed with regular cleaning. Greg Howard’s Cleaning will not be responsible for failing to remove old permanent stains or pre-existing conditions that cannot be removed using regular carpet cleaning methods. Greg Howard’s Cleaning is not responsible for invisible pre-existing damage, like open loose seams, invisible cuts on the carpet, delaminated carpet, or chemical reactions to invisible substances on the floor that may discolour or bleach the carpet. You also understand that it is impossible to test for or predetermine the result of cleaning or stain removal treatment. With full knowledge of the above, you authorize Greg Howard’s Cleaning to treat your carpet in an attempt to remove the soiling and stains. You understand there are variables beyond the control of Greg Howard’s Cleaning and understand that Greg Howard’s Cleaning disclaims any liability for damage caused to the carpet due to any cleaning or stain removal treatment. You agree to hold Greg Howard’s Cleaning harmless for any damage caused to your carpet due to any cleaning or stain removal procedure. By signing this work order you authorize Greg Howard‘s Cleaning technicians to proceed with the prescribed treatment.

Please Note on Heavily Soiled Carpets – Quote pricing is based on cleaning carpets with a moderate amount of soiling and no stains. Carpets that are heavily soiled and Stained require a double cleaning and will be charged a higher price.

Urine/Feces/Vomit Odour & Stains – If your carpeting, upholstery, mattress, or tile and grout are currently damaged due to urine deposits and or vomit, you understand that these deposits can be activated by cleaning, releasing odour, and staining material. You acknowledge that the carpet, upholstery, mattress, or tile & and grout in this condition is of severely lessened value. There is no guarantee implied or expressed that all urine, fecal, vomit odour, and or stains will be removed, and you agree to hold Greg Howard’s Cleaning harmless for any damage caused to your carpet, upholstery, mattress, tile, and grout as a result of any cleaning or stain removal procedure.

Upholstery & Mattress Cleaning – You understand there is no way of determining when such results will occur and that the fabric may have previously deteriorated due to such factors as fading, shrinkage, dry-rotting, and watermarking browning, or loss of tensile strength. Also, understand that manufacturers will occasionally mark items with a black or other coloured marker on the fabric. You understand that this should not be done and it has the potential to bleed through when cleaned. You agree not to hold Greg Howard’s Cleaning responsible for any of the conditions described.

Tile & Grout – Greg Howard’s Cleaning will not be liable for any invisible pre-existing conditions including cracked, loose, or broken tile or grout, hair-line cracks between tile & and grout, or hollow pockets under the grout, caused by improper installation that may result in cracked tile. Greg Howard’s Cleaning will not be held responsible for the removal of pre-existing floor coatings including grout stain or efflorescence residue which may appear after cleaning. Also, existing wax coatings and certain heavy soiling due to the prolonged absence of sealer which may have bonded to the tile and grout cannot be removed using our standard cleaning process. If applicable, an additional cost.

Carpet Repairs – You acknowledge that the carpet in its damaged condition is of lessened value. You also understand that it is impossible to test for or predetermine the result of any carpet repair attempt. With full knowledge of the above, you authorize Greg Howard’s Cleaning to treat your carpet in an attempt to repair your damaged carpet. Greg Howard’s Cleaning disclaims any liability for damage caused due to the attempt at carpet repair.

 GUARANTEE  - When you have all your cleaning and service by Greg Howard’s cleaning, will have a 100% Satisfaction Guarantee with 30 days Guarantee, we will re-clean any problem areas or we will refund the amount paid for the unsatisfactory area.  We are committed to performing a careful and thorough cleaning service using reasonable care to obtain satisfactory results. Guaranteed does not include urine spots or stains. Due to the characteristics, age, and severity of some stains in carpet and upholstery, mattress fibres, as well as tile & grout, some stains may be permanent.  There are no guarantees for urine, fecal staining odour removal, or dye stains.  Cancellations Policy – We appreciate a minimum of 48 notice to reschedule an appointment or cancel a cancellation fee will apply. HEALTH AND SAFETY OF THE CUSTOMER - The customer has been advised of the risks involved within the confines of a household/building with regards to safety and technician/technician’s operating carpet cleaning equipment and accessories around their home. The customer has been informed of and will adhere to the following safety procedures set out by Greg Howard’s Cleaning. The customer has been informed and is aware to keep themselves and their family members away from any machinery, cords, buckets mops, or accessories that may be in operation at the time of cleaning. The customer has been informed chemical vapours may affect the respiratory system and if they are feeling any adverse effects from the cleaning that is taking place, vacate the room. Asthma and allergies have been warned of hazards.
The customer has been advised to take caution during and after the cleaning has been completed, walking on wet/slippery surfaces hard floors, carpets, and tiled areas.

Privacy policy - The Customer acknowledges that any information provided by the Customer may be used by Greg Howard’s Cleaning to provide the Service. Greg Howard’s Cleaning agrees not to share any information provided by the Customer with any third party not directly involved in the provision of the Service. The Customer agrees to Greg Howard’s Cleaning communicating with them electronically and/or via other means to provide the Service or for reasons related to the provision of the Service. Greg Howard’s Cleaning will take all reasonable precautions to protect the personal information provided by the Customer from loss, misuse, unauthorized access or disclosure, alteration, or destruction. Greg Howard’s Cleaning reserves the right to update or modify these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. The Customer agrees that any use of the Service following any such change, whether as a single job or as part of a regular cleaning schedule, constitutes their agreement to follow and be bound by the terms and conditions as changed.  ACCOUNT  ARRANGEMENT  Late Fees at 20% each day late, cleaning after 7 days, or Special account arrangement.  Warning, Basic Cleaning has no Guarantees.
